Technology – Development Environment
EPSILON DESKTOP is a Windows application built on the MVC model. We use C# development language for Desktop interface and
back-end Server. We use the TCP protocol to communicate between Client and Server Application with Three-tier Client/Server architecture.
The Data engine is SQL Server, optional between Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and MySQL Enterprise. You can use the same PC for application server or different server to increase security and performance. Server application can be built for Windows Server or Linux Server
which one you prefer. Our Database is design with strong OLAP functions
to boost the Sql Server and Application Server very fast for thousand of transactions per hour.
Execution Environment
To run the code, the application must be installed on a Windows Server or an Ubuntu (Linux) Server.
To run the web interface application it is required to have a Linux with FireFox or Windows 7/Vista/XP with an IE7/8 browser, or Windows 7/Vista/XP only for the Windows Desktop version.
For support purposes, either buying or leasing our solutions, you must have an Internet connexion available on your PC.
